Parent/Child Dedication Sunday – May 13 (Mother’s Day)
Parent and Child Dedication/Baptism is a tradition among many communities of faith. It is important to dedicate our children to the Lord and commit to prepare them spiritually for the world they have entered. It is the duty of the parents to form faith within the family and the privilege of the church to equip and resource families to do so.
Parents need to be commissioned, children need to be dedicated/baptized, and the church needs to be a resource for both the parents and the children.
Please contact the church office (email here) if you are interested in committing and dedicating your child to the Lord on May 13. There is a class on Sunday, May 6 at 10:30 a.m. for those planning to dedicate their child.
