I grew up in Hayward. When I was a little girl the only thing I wanted to do was swim and fish in the summer and play in the snow in the winter. Hayward has it all: four distinctive seasons and year-round fun. And you can meet someone new almost every time you walk out your door and go to town. But it is a quiet place too. Solitude in the woods is where my heart sings now. Our backyard faces the woods and is alive with wildlife. Birds, squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, deer… you name it we get it in our backyard. I love to watch the wildlife at play. I love that Hayward represents the northwoods, but also the world too, with all our “World Class Events.” These are just some of the things I love about Hayward.
Serving at Hayward Wesleyan Church is an amazing privilege! God calls us all to serve His kingdom and I have the privilege of being part of a team that loves the Lord fully and as forwardly as is possible. That’s why I love serving here. This “team” is why I’m here. Without that love of God, there would not be a team and I need to be a part of that!
My husband and I have been married over 32 years and have one daughter that is married and lives in Denver, CO. We have lived in the same house for 25 years and just keep “improving” it. I think we’ll be in that house until, maybe not until we die, but certainly until at least we retire!
I have a variety of work history and some classes in accounting, bookkeeping and advertising. I have lived a lot of life and have plenty of experiences that go along with it!
