I have lived in the north woods of Wisconsin for 35 years. A life time of enjoying ALL that it offers: fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, etc. My most favorite things to do involve being immersed in the beauty of this part of the country, cause it’s all pretty amazing for this born and bred Texas girl.
I can remember back to when I became part of this wonderful family we call “Hayward Wesleyan Church.” My passion then, as now, is to live life-on-life with others. This desire has soared and I can’t think of anything better than walking this life that Christ laid out for us together.
My husband, Kirk, and I have been married almost 41 years. We are in the stage of life where our 3 grown children and six grandchildren are making lives for themselves and we continue to learn what it means to be empty-nesters. Fun!
I was ordained in the Wesleyan Church in 2004. I love to learn, so I read A LOT, and I’ve continued to seek opportunities to deepen and grow my soul. I completed a “Spiritual Formation” certificate through Bethel Seminary and I’m currently engaged in a Counseling and Pastoral Education program for Chaplaincy.
