What is Stephen Ministry?
Stephen Ministry is a program from our congregation that equips lay person to provide distinctively Christian one-on-one care, confidentiality, to anyone in our community who is experiencing all sorts of life needs and circumstances.
Who is Involved in Stephen Ministry?
Stephen Leaders are church staff, lay leaders, and pastors trained to provide ongoing leadership for their congregation’s Stephen Ministry. They are equipped for this key role through the Stephen Leader Training Course offered by Stephen Ministries St. Louis.
Hayward Wesleyan Church currently has five people in the Stephen Ministry Leader Training consisting of both staff and lay leaders.
