Who We Are
Hayward Wesleyan Church is a more than just a place to go or an event to attend.
We are a community of people who are being changed by the love of God. We’re down to earth and upbeat. We like to laugh, not take ourselves too seriously and we’re probably not all that different from you.
We believe that it’s the gospel of Jesus that truly changes people, and those people are the ones who bring about change in the world.
You are welcome here:
- If you’ve been following Jesus your entire life, you’re welcome here.
- If you’re new to faith, you’re welcome here.
- If you have more questions than answers, you’re welcome here.
No matter where you are on your journey of faith, we would love to walk alongside of you as we seek the Father’s heart together!
We invite you to join us as we join God in what He is doing. You’ll discover a God who is active, alive, and at work in your life!
There’s a place for you!

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD IS COMING TO HWC!
Sometimes something as simple as a shoebox can become an unforgettable expression of God’s love.
Hayward Wesleyan Church is once again an official drop-off location for Operation Christmas Child during National Collection Week,
November 16–23, 2026. Pack a shoebox with gifts for a child, include a personal note if you’d like, pray over your box, and bring it to HWC during one of our collection times. Empty shoeboxes are available in the HWC Welcome Area!
Not sure what to pack or how to get started? Visit the HWC website for collection information, or visit Samaritan’s Purse — Operation Christmas Child for shoebox packing instructions.
LET’S FILL SOME SHOEBOXES AND SHARE THE LOVE OF JESUS WITH CHILDREN AROUND THE WORLD!
Ways to Give
Giving cheerfully is part of our worship. Your generosity allows us to help more people experience the life-changing impact of belief. We are part of something big, an amazing adventure to step out in faith and offer the hope and healing of Christ. Will you join us in giving?
