George’s Memorial Goats for Grammas 5 mile, 5km, 2km Run/Walk

100% of participants’ entry fees go to help Gambians in need. The proceeds go directly to The Gambia, no government interference. This year we hope to provide rural Gambians with housing for teachers. Last year we helped the Gambians with tree protection where deforestation is a real problem. The last 5 years you have helped send goats, seed, food, blankets, shirts, gristmill, 5 water wells in Zambia, and 1 in Uganda.
Location: Start/Finish and parking behind the old Cable School on 1st Street
Course: 5 mile, 5km, 2km courses, 2 aid stations on the 5 mile and 1 on the 5km.
Some road, railroad grade, and a little trail. 2km all road. Rain or shine.
Timing: Tortoise & Hare Race Management
Race day registration at the parking area behind old Cable School from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Bib pickup is also race day behind the school.
