FAITH PROMISE is a financial commitment made by individuals at the local church level each year to the support of world missions. Every Wesleyan missionary starts their service by building a team of prayer and financial partners before reaching the field. Our own Hayward Wesleyan Church serves as a financial and prayer partner in helping them meet their needs.
Keep in mind that our regular tithes and offerings are needed in the work of the church, but are not sufficient to get the gospel to the world. Tithes and offerings look to, and depend upon a stated income. Faith Promise looks directly to God, asking, “How much can I trust God to give through me?” It is a pledge made between you and God.
You can also be involved in the cause of missions by praying and serving.
PRAY for the courage to witness, protection for missionaries, unity among believers on the field, and that the Word of God may be proclaimed without obstacles.
SERVE by getting involved in local church missions, considering a short-term mission trip, or serving as a volunteer in a local service agency.
