Missions is an attitude, not just a subject. Missions is related to every phase of church life. It is the one great tasks of the church and must permeate every church activity. Mission teams are often sent out from Hayward Wesleyan Church across the United States as well as internationally. Our congregation helps support 20 missionaries and many other mission projects throughout the year through your generous financial giving and prayer.
Our Missions Committee keeps the congregation informed of missionary news, and also spearheads missions projects and events throughout the year, such as:
- Annual Missions Focus
- Missionary of the Month Feature
- Support missionaries special needs
- Help sponsor short term mission trips
- Prepare Thanksgiving food boxes
- Camp sponsorship

Through the Mission program at Hayward Wesleyan, YOU are doing some amazing things around the world. In total, you’re supporting TWENTY missions or missionaries through Hayward Wesleyan with a $90,000 budget this year.

Hayward Wesleyan Church is sending two mission teams to Impacto in Guatemala in 2024. Impacto is a Christian ministry that shares the love and Good News of Jesus with the Mayan people around Lake Atitlan.
