Alyssa and I moved to Hayward July of 2019.  I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago until I went to Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU).  While at IWU, I received a degree in Christian Ministries and an MA in Practical Theology.  During that time, I was the manager and director of operations for IWU’s men’s basketball team where we won two national championships.  Most importantly, I met the love of my life: Alyssa.  I became the luckiest man in the world when she said “I do” a few months after our graduation (6/3/17).

I love God, my family/friends, being active.  I am a deep lover of all things theology.  As a someone who grew up around Chicago, I have a great passion for all things Chicago.  This would include deep dish pizza (Giordano’s), hot dogs (Portillo’s), and all the local sports teams (excluding the Cubs – I’m a Cardinals fan).  Working out and staying in shape is my jam.  I played basketball until college, so I am always excited to shoot hoops.  I’m excited to get outdoors and explore all the activities that this beautiful town has to offer with Alyssa.

On a more serious note, I love Jesus more than anything.  I have a passion to see men and women boldly live out their faiths in their churches and in their communities.  I am humbled that God would allow me to serve His people as a pastor.
